You can't be certain about a hosting service unless you try it first. So we are offering a one month free trial on our FileMaker server 12 service. This way you can test you are sure that our service meets your needs without obligation.

Packages

After your free trial you can select from any package below. If none of them suit your needs we can also offer custom packages or provide you with your own dedicated FileMaker server. Once you select a package you will be invoiced automatically each time it expires. Any package that includes advance payment can be terminated by you at any time and whole unused months will qualify for a refund based on the appropriate monthly package rate.

Low usage FileMaker Pro only hosting (package 12L) £100 p/a + VAT

This is a very good value package for small organisations such a clubs, partnerships and individuals who use FileMaker Pro clients to access their central data perhaps from laptops or more than one location. The servers you will use and the performance you get will be the same as for our other packages. The only difference is the limits to connections etc listed below.

• Option to upload your file through FileMaker 12 or to send it to us for upload
• Package limits: 125 MB maximum file size
• No more than two connections from FileMaker Pro at one time
• Full backup as described in 'Why us'

This package does NOT allow connections from IWP (See Package 12L below if you need IWP)

Low usage with IWP (package 12LG) £140 p/a + VAT

As 12L but with one connection at a time from FileMaker Go.

• Package limits: 125 MB maximum file size
• No more than two FileMaker Pro or FileMaker Go connections at one time
• No more than two IWP connections at one time
• Full backup as described in 'Why us'

Like all our packages this cannot be partially used and the spare capacity sold on to others without our agreement.

Standard package (package 12S) £15 per file per month + VAT†

This package should be fine for small businesses and for departments of larger organisations. You can use various methods to connect.

• Up to 20 simultaneous connections from FileMaker Pro or FileMaker Go clients
• No more than six simultaneous IWP connections at one time
• PHP connections
• File size total up to 250 MB
• 1 file (.fp7 or fmp12) {This can be increased see below}
• Full backup as described in 'Why us'
• One overnight server script

Like all our packages this cannot be partially used and the spare capacity sold on to others without our agreement.

Full shared package (package 12F) £30 per month + VAT†

• Up to 30 simultaneous connections from FileMaker Pro or FileMaker Go clients
• No more than ten IWP connections at one time
• PHP connections
• File size total up to 500 MB
• 5 files (fp7 or .fmp12) {This can be increased see below}
• An allowance of 1 server script per file
• Full backup as described in 'Why us

Extra database files £5 per month per file + VAT

If you want to increase the number of files we host over your normal package limit you can purchase extra databases. Please note that this purchace do not come with extra file space or connection limits.

Extra space for your databases £5 per month per 500 MB + VAT

Most users easily fit in the space their package provides. However if you need more this is charged at £5 per month for an additional 500MB.

Overnight Dropbox copy of your database(s) £5 per month + VAT

If you are a user who wants a recent copy of you hosted database at hand all the time Dropbox syncing is for you. We supply a shared Dropbox folder with a new backup every night so that after turning on your computer the following morning you get the previous day's databases delivered without you having to do anything else. Please note we cannot/do not monitor this service and it has a minimum commitment of 6 months. Low traffic and quick as Dropbox only sends the changes to your files The copies go to all machines you have your Dropbox account on. Total File size up to 1 GB for £5 per month The advantages of hosting combined with having a recent copy with you even when you don't have easy access to the internet.

Overnight FTP copy of your database(s) £5 per month + VAT

If you are a user who wants a recent copy of you hosted database at hand or wants an extra level of confidence you can always access your files we can set up an overnight backup and FTP transfer to a FTP site you supply. Please is up to you to monitor this function is working correctly as we do not monitor this service and it has a minimum commitment of 6 months.

Recovery from archive fee £78

If you request recovery from historic backups or to be sent copies of your database more than 3 time a year, we reserve the right to charge for this service. We will also charge for any request where you are no longer a paying/trial customer eg your trial ended and you did not request the return of your files at the time or your hosting charges are unpaid.

† To keep your and our costs down our normal practice is to issue invoices for at least £90 + VAT so if this package is purchased on its own we invoice three or six months at a time. If you cancel hosting and have paid in advance any whole months will be refunded. We also offer direct debit for monthly plans.
